How WellSpring Cares

After more than 33 years of placing an emphasis on crisis intervention and support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, they announced a new mission and vision – one that focuses on a need to be proactive, and to engage all of Saratoga County in ending relationship and sexual abuse. To better reflect their revised mission and vision, they also updated their name to “WellSpring”.

WellSpring has assisted tens of thousands of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault – whether they needed an escape, were looking for advice, or sought to improve their quality of like, WellSpring was here for them. WellSpring is part of your community – existing to serve you and your loved ones, and while continuing to offer essential safety, intervention, and support services.

The Purple Purse Challenge

The Allstate Foundation Purple Purse Challenge is an annual friendly fundraising competition in October during Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Nonprofit organizations serving domestic violence survivors around the U.S. compete to raise the most money. The top fundraisers have the opportunity to win grand prize cash donations totaling $350,000 from the Allstate Foundation.
